Modeling found Bianca Yasmine Lominy, not the other way around…
A few years earlier, she happened into the film production industry by volunteering for a friend and through different collaborations. Now, several years later, Bianca is a multi-hypenate entertainment industry professional with a background in strategic and corporate communications and public relations.
After graduating from Temple University, she grinded from freelance PR out of her own company, Honey B Media Group, to media gigs in fashion, beauty and entertainment, working red carpets and managing talent. It’s this amalgam of skills and experiences that sets Bianca apart and creates the micro-influencer brand she’s become, one constantly creating everything from a podcast series to a skincare company, Role Play Body, and a family-owned jewelry line. This comes alongside a corporate career in communications and marketing.
Bianca commissioned the first professional photos of herself in an effort to heal from trauma. After losing a sense of self, she stepped in front of the camera with the goal of being able to see herself again. That was July 2017. The response to Bianca’s images -- exuding beauty, power and vulnerability -- was immediate.
She’s since done commercial, vignette and on-air modeling for projects and brands that include:
Aṣọ Dára
Levi’s Presents “She’s Revolutionary” with #MeToo Creator Tarana Burke
Cadillac
“Ballet After Dark,” a short film that premiered at Tribeca Film Festival, debuted streaming on Hulu and is currently streaming on BET+
Fox 5 New York
Photographer Bryon Summers’ “Celebrating Melanin & Black Heritage” mural project
Bianca also joined a panel at Curl Fest by Madame Noire on the topic of colorism. That opportunity, she said, “made me really feel like I have the opportunity to be somebody of influence in an impactful way, not in a vain way.”
Bianca lives, works and podcasts from New Jersey. She’s ready to work & available for travel.
